About this tour

Unexplored Kerala – Discover the Hidden Gems of God’s Own Country

Unexplored Kerala invites you to look beyond the usual tourist trails and uncover the untouched beauty of this lush paradise. While Kerala is known for its backwaters, tea gardens, and beaches, there’s a quieter, less-traveled side that offers unique and immersive experiences.

Start your journey in places like Vagamon and Ponmudi—lesser-known hill stations that offer rolling meadows, mist-covered trails, and scenic viewpoints. These serene escapes are perfect for travelers seeking peace and a connection with nature.

Head to the village of Aranmula to witness centuries-old craftsmanship and the iconic Aranmula Kannadi—metal mirrors handcrafted by local artisans. Or explore the peaceful forest reserves of Silent Valley National Park, a biodiversity hotspot that remains untouched by mass tourism.

In North Kerala, discover Bekal with its majestic seaside fort and unspoiled beaches. Payyoli and Kannur offer quiet coastal beauty, rich Theyyam rituals, and traditional handloom weaving that reflect the region’s heritage.

For an authentic backwater experience minus the crowds, visit Ashtamudi or Munroe Island, where you can canoe through narrow canals and stay in homestays that immerse you in village life.

Unexplored Kerala is also rich in culture, cuisine, and wellness. Enjoy Ayurvedic therapies in offbeat retreats, relish regional dishes in family-run eateries, and take part in folk art performances away from the spotlight.

Unexplored Kerala is not just a destination—it’s an invitation to slow down, dig deeper, and experience God’s Own Country in its raw, untouched form. Discover a side of Kerala that few have seen—but everyone remembers.
